Self-correcting answers with CRAG & Self-RAG

Sometimes the right answer is “let me look again,” and sometimes it is “I do not know.” CRAG and Self-RAG give a pipeline both moves.

Retry, or abstain

Grade the retrieved context before generating. If it is weak, retry retrieval with a rewritten query; if it stays weak, abstain rather than hallucinate. The feedback loop is what keeps faithfulness high under messy inputs.
